Dundee recorded a 2-0 home win over Kilmarnock.
The home side took an early lead when Steven Milne put them ahead with six minutes played.
A good break forward by Nacho Novo saw him race into the box and he played a one-two with Milne, but when Novo lost control slightly he knocked it back into the path of Milne who scored from eight yards.
The visitors won a free-kick 25 yards from goal and when the ball was played inside to Rhian Dodds his 20-yard effort was well charged down by Brent Sancho with half an hour played.
Danny Invincibile should have equalised for the visitors when good play by Steven Murray saw the winger cross straight on to his head, but despite being all alone, six yards from goal, he headed weakly wide ten minutes before the break.
Dodds had a go from 30 yards just before half-time but his effort went just wide of the target.
Ten minutes after the interval a cross from the right by Novo found Barry Smith 12 yards from goal, but the Dundee captain snatched at his shot and fired high over the crossbar.
Novo had a go moments later when he drilled the ball towards goal from 45 yards after spotting Colin Meldrum well off his line, but the Killie keeper was well aware of the situation and easily saved.
Dundee went 2-0 up with ten minutes remaining and it was top scorer Novo who grabbed the goal with his 24th strike of the season.
The Dundee striker beat Freddie Dindeleux to a long Smith pass and the Spanish striker made no mistake, firing a right-foot shot past Meldrum from 12 yards.
Eric Skora went close for Killie in the dying minutes, but his well-struck shot was turned around the post by Julian Speroni and the game ended 2-0 to the home team.
