Despite leaving it late, Dundee recorded a club record 20th unbeaten match with a 2-1 home win over Queen of South.
The Dees were buoyed by the midweek news that they another step closer to exiting administration after the Creditors' Voluntary Arrangement was passed.
But it was the visitors who opened the scoring.
Ex-Dundee striker Colin McMenamin, released from Dundee back in October when they went into administration, fired the visitors ahead with a neat finish from six-yards.
Neil McCann had a great chance to level the scores inside the first minute of the second half but headed the corner over the bar.
The equaliser came when Sean Higgins' driven shot found the back of the net from 18 yards out.
But with three minutes of normal time left Stephen O'Donnell hit the crossbar, only for the rebound to be slotted home by Craig Forsyth.
