Clyde and Dundee served up excitement for the fans in a fast-moving opening 45 minutes by trading four goals.

The visitors opened the scoring from a corner with Tom McManus heading home a perfect delivery from Paul Dixon.

Clyde then replied with a quick one-two, the equaliser also coming from a corner. Eddie Malone delivered, Chris Higgins head-flicked across goal and Tom Brighton's head did the rest.

Dundee gifted Clyde the lead when Callum McDonald diverted a low cross from Michael McGowan out of Kelvin Jack's reach.

Dundee drew level four minutes later when Eddie Malone's poor headed clearance was thumped past Paul Jarvie from the edge of the penalty box by substitute Colin Marshall.

Dundee only needed three minutes after the restart to regain the lead. Stuart McCluskey's throw from the right touch- line was headed across goal by skipper Bobbie Mann for Tom McManus to collect his second goal.

Minutes later the same player was denied a hat trick by the upright with Jarvie well beaten.

The visitors held their lead comfortably until Clyde introduced substitute Paul McHale, who scored with his first touch with a shot from distance which keeper Jack should have saved. The defenders were noticeably upset as was his manager, who immediately replaced him by reserve keeper Scott Murray.
