Diary of a Fans’ Rep.
It’s time for me to bring you my diary notes for the month of September, so here goes. A lot has happened during the past month and considerable strides have been taken, so I’ve decided to keep these notes fairly brief. All the main points of interest are included of course, and I’ll be happy to talk to anyone who contacts me to ask for more detail of any particular topic.
Monday 9th September: DFC Board Room: 7pm – 11pm. This was a full DFCSS meeting mainly discussing finance. Our guest was George Harris, DSA Chairman and Treasurer. It was very helpful to have George there, as we were able to talk things through and a number of financial questions were answered.
Wednesday 11th September: Gilzean Lounge: 7pm – 10pm. Following the re-launch of our highly successful Platinum Club on Friday 30th August, this was a meeting with other board members specifically to discuss plans for the introduction of two new packages to add to our current offerings of Gold and Platinum. These are exciting developments with attractive benefits, and we anticipate much interest being shown in the new packages – to be named Gold Plus and Diamond - which will be launched for Christmas. Watch out for more details to follow shortly.
Saturday 14th September: Legends Lounge: 1pm – 6pm (including game time). I talked to a number of fans enjoying hospitality in the Legends Lounge on a range of subjects but principally regarding communication between the club and the fans. A few matters were raised which I took back to the commercial department, all of which will help our continuing aim of making improvements to everyone’s benefit.
