We'll have the minutes from Saturday's AGM uploaded as soon as we can, however here's Society Chairman Scott Glenday's statement for those who couldn't attend...
"Welcome to this year's Society AGM, thankfully a meeting held in very different circumstances to that of last year's.
If you cast your mind back to that day, you will remember that we had just lost our appeal against the 25 point penalty handed out by the SFL, we were sitting bottom of the league with a revised total of one point, some eleven points off second bottom place and odds on to be relegated.
This year on the footballing front we are sitting third in the league, eleven points off the top, not the bottom, unbeaten for five games and chasing promotion. A fair turn around in a year and a credit to our manager, players, staff and everyone else involved - not least you, the supporters, for the backing you have given the team.
Away from matters on the park we were last year trying to raise money to ensure we survived as a Club and had a team to support. This year we are in the throws of putting together a package to ensure that, as we approach the end of this season, there is sufficient funding in place to allow the manager to look forward and to plan, organise and prepare with confidence. Not a bad place to be...a situation other Clubs I know are extremely envious of, and much of that progress has again been down to you the ordinary supporter – you’ve backed the efforts of those you’ve elected to take the Club forward and got behind the team week in, week out - well done and thanks to everybody.
