Ronnie McIntosh is well-known among the Dundee FC support, from his appearances at Dens Park with the Revival Tayside, Organ Donors and Tayside Kidney Patients’ Association, not to mention his race-walk around the ground. He is the world’s only double-amputee, major organ transplant Athlete and to allow him to return to his passion for running, he needs specialist prosthetic limbs.
Unfortunately Tayside Health Board is unable to provide these limbs, so Ronnie has embarked upon a fundraising challenge to raise the £11,000 required to fund these limbs. Ronnie is therefore holding a Sportspersons’ Dinner in the Landmark Hotel, Dundee on Thursday 29th March.
After-Dinner speakers for the evening are ex-Scottish Grade 1 Referee John Rowbotham and Impressionist Paul Reid – a recent guest on SKY 1’s Soccer AM programme. There will be an auction and a raffle with some fantastic items up for grabs.
Tickets are available, priced at £35 per person or £350 for a table of 12.
