Ticket and Match Ticket Info
At the end of last season, the BoD and the CEO put together a policy in relation to Season Ticket and Match Ticket Prices for the forthcoming season as well as planned ticket initiatives throughout the season.
All of this was based upon Dundee FC being in the First Division, as we were due to be.
Being a fan owned Club and facing a number of months with no steady revenue other than Season Ticket sales, it was imperative that our figures stood up with the support of the fans. Considering the real challenges faced by everyone in the current economic climate, a new and innovative Season Ticket and Leisure package was put together which would allow fans to enjoy hundreds of pounds worth of additional benefits for the first time ever at Dens Park. I actually announced the intention to do this back at the first Q&A of the year on February 28th.
Our Season Ticket and Leisure Package with the new added benefits went on sale on May 14th 2012 and Terms and Conditions were readily available at the point of sale in the Ticket Office.
The T's & C’s were also published on the website and in the corporate brochure which went out in the post to every season ticket holder on the Club database. As new Leisure Partners are announced, the website is updated and we have utilised the Matchday Programme to keep fans without internet access updated too. Unfortunately but understandably, the Club Brochure was slightly later going out than planned and this was partly because of the uncertainty which we were encountering over which Division we would actually be in.
We had hoped our fate would be known prior to that but unfortunately it wasn't possible.
We announced the closing date of Monday 3rd September for Season Ticket Sales on the Dundee FC website in late August.
In total, Season Tickets were on sale for a period of 16 (SIXTEEN) weeks, longer than many, if not most Clubs and this again was partly due to the fact that we didn't receive our Official Invitation into the SPL until August 3rd.
