The slightly milder weather (milder?), and the fact that the balloon did it's job this time (no, the actual balloon, not the groundsman), means that Dundee's game against Falkirk goes ahead this afternoon at 3.00. There were no plans to have the pitch inspected early.
So now begins a most important week for Dundee. A win today sees us pitched in against East Fife or Partick away in the next round of the Scottish - a real chance to make the last 8. Wednesday night sees us against Motherwell away in the league, followed by Hibs at Dens next Saturday. This is followed by Dunfermline at Dens the following Wednesday. If we can't reach the next round and make up points on those in front of us in the league with these fixtures, we'd best stop thinking of a top 6 finish.
