After four weeks of inactivity, the dees and indeed morton were a wee bit ring rusty, morton kind of dominated the match but their finishing in front of goal left an awful lot to be desired.Chance after chance went a begging for the home side espesecially in the first half.
Big rab douglas held strong and brought off some great saves, however the dee were lucky to survive a claim for a penalty that had the morton manager furious,as he claimed it was one of the stone wall variety.the dees some how managed to get to half time 0.0.
Things improved in the second half and in 62 mins former dee o'brien was adjudged to have fouled o'donnell and matty lockwood made no mistake from the spot kick, forsyth and higgins then had good half chances but the dees held on for another three points.what a turn around since barry smith took over the dens manager job
