Dundee have reassured fans that there is no crisis in the dens park boardroom, despite the third departure in a month.
this week director harry maclean follwed ex chairman out the door and at the end of the season scott glenday will also go.
that has left some fans to express concerns over continuity, however director mo kidd today moved to dismiss those concerns, insisting al is well behind the scenes at dens.
there is absolutely no crisis at all he said, the club is running fine and its in good hands.
the dee board is now five strong following the departures of maclean and murphy.kidd, glenday and macdonald comprise the dfcss contingent with steve martin and independant finacial director mark gallacher making up the rest of the board.
but despite the recent reduction in numbers kidd insists the board as it stands is stronger than it has ever been, that can only be to our benefit,in terms of the club being run correctly.
the current directors are more than capable of overseeing the various departments within the club.
and beyond that the staff we have are more than capable of keeping things running from day to day.
kidd also moved to reasure fans that plans for a potential six figure cash injection in the new year remain unaffected by the boardroom reshuffles.
we have already had discussions with one investor on monday and that went well.we are meeting another investor before the kilmarnock game on the 7th.that is completely unaffected by the departures we'v seen, looking to the futre the five directors will each be taking a degree of responsibility for ensuring dialogue with potential investors ,that is still very much top of our agenda so nothing has changed in that respect.
also on the boards list of prioritys is tightening up communication between the various departments inside dens park, much work has alreaady been done to ensure directors are accountable to individual areas of the business,
"what we are doing as a board once the holiday period is over isfirming up lines of communication and responsibility from department heads to individual directors"
mo also thanked the fans for turning up in numbers for the boxing day game and sking them to get behind the team at raith.
