All roads led to firhill today when the jags met dundee, upon entering the ground it was obvious this was going to be no classic silky soccer display,as the pitch was an utter disgrace, infact it resembled a tattie field.
The game was a very stuffy affair and was quite even in the first half with a few chances to each side.
The second half was better and the jags missed an absolute sitter when the ball fell for them roughly on the penalty spot, the resulting effort on goal however was absolutely shocking.
Forsyth started to come into the came in the second half and Gary Harkins could realy have had a hat trick had he put his foot through the ball in the second half, the chances were coming fast and furious now and we could have nicked it when higgins connected with his head,
I must admit however that a draw was possibly the correct result, with riley in particular being a thorn the jags flesh,im sure irvine recieved a yellow card, and graham bayne showed up quite well in the air especially.
Once again the dee fans showed up in great numbers as the team edge ever closer to the undefeated record set by the 62 championship winning side.
