Dundee have been chasing Mark Fotheringham's signature from Celtic since July. I can reveal that it was a training bust up between young Mark and Henrik Larsson that ended with Mark's fall from grace with Martin O'Neill.

The Caballero departure story has been resurrected by an email that suggests he is still Porto bound before the 31st, and for a fee of £2 million.

Another rumour is that the James McFadden deal is close to completion and the player might be paraded on Thursday night. If not, look for a big red face on DW for revealing what seems a hard to believe rumour, even though the source assures me it's true. (I'll be in the Bob Shankly on Thursday, by the way.)

Rangers are still pursuing Gavin Rae, a lot depending on their result tonight.

Kinkladze, as everyone knows, is being looked at as a possible signing by Dundee and could be a Dundee player in time for our next home game.
