Our home game versus Ross County on 25th August saw the first event of the season for Club Dundee’s Platinum members. Despite a disappointing result all the members attending with their guests had a great day out. Hosted by Eddie Devlin, the event was held in the upper tier of the new Legends' Lounge, while ex-Dees Tosh McKinlay, Les Bar and Bobby Wilson were in attendance for a chat and a chance to share their stories with the fans.
New members Elspeth and Ian McCafferty said "This is our first event having joined during the close season, and the it was nice to meet other members and also ex-legends such as Tosh McKinlay, Les Barr and Bobby Wilson and his wife Jean."
The party atmosphere was also a special thrill for Kieran Sullivan, the nephew of Kris Sparks who recently joined the Platinum Membership Scheme. As part of the benefits of joining up, all Platinum members receive a signed top from their favourite player and a signed ball from the first team squad.

Chic Haggart was especially pleased with his signed shirt from Carl Finnegan and wanted to show it off to his friends in the Perth area.
Platinum Club Member James Christie could not attend but sent along a friend of his, and of Dundee Football Club, in Duncan Crighton of Family Guys, one of the Society’s recent charity groups.
Ian Rae and his son Evan travelled from their home in Rutherglen to see the Dee in action, and both had a wonderful day out.
