As Dundee welcomed St Mirren to Dens for our first home game in the SPL for over 7 years, the Dundee FC Supporters’ Society welcomed Alan Denny and son Lewis to the Boardroom. Alan won the June 2012 Gold and Platinum Members Draw, and with it an invitation to join Society and Club Director Eddie Devlin in the Boardroom for some Match Day Hospitality.
Alan told us “Lewis and I had a great day (apart from the result), and it was a great privilege to be present in the boardroom on our first home game back in the SPL. We were made to feel very welcome, particularly from Eddie Devlin, Fraser MacDonald and Scot Gardiner, and we had a great time studying the many pieces of club history which were on display.
“I decided to join Club Dundee following the club entering Administration for the second time, partly for the DFCTV element, but mainly as a way of contributing extra money to the club. In fact, I wasn't even aware that there was a monthly draw, so this came as a very pleasant surprise to me. I know there has been some debate on the fans’ forums regarding the value of Club Dundee now that some of the content is available for free elsewhere. However, I don't think anyone who has the opportunity to attend Boardroom Hospitality would ever argue that it's not good value for money at £10 per month.”
Alan also took the opportunity to offer us some feedback on the membership packages and, as always, we’re happy to take his comments on board. Eddie said “it was a pleasure to welcome Alan and Lewis to the Boardroom, and we’d like to thank him for his continued support through the Gold Membership scheme. At £10 per month, Gold Membership offers a wide range of benefits and, of course, the opportunity to sample the Boardroom experience like Alan and Lewis did last weekend.
“We’ve been working on a number of improvements to our membership packages and the DFCTV offering, some of those such as full-screen highlights have come to fruition, whilst others are still in the pipeline. We’d like to thank all of our members for their support”.
