Everyone else at Dens Park is available to manager Barry Smith, but Raith are without injured striker Gary Wales.
Rovers' Mark Campbell, Willie Dyer and Allan Walker are all struggling to be fit in time for the match.
Dundee manager Barry Smith: "I am not concerned that this would have been a promotion clash if we had not lost the 25 points.
"All I am concerned about is that we pick up the three points and keep moving up the table.
"There is a long way to go and we need to win as many of the 16 games left as possible to avoid relegation."
Raith Rovers manager John McGlynn: "Mark (Campbell) is giving us the greatest concern as he has damaged a nerve in his thigh. The other two guys may still make it, if there has been no reaction after doing some light training on Thursday."
"If it was not for their 25-point penalty Dundee would be sitting on the same points total as ourselves. As far as I am concerned this is a top of the table clash."
