the fund is now standing at £8200 which is a tremendous effort,in such a short time period,as most will know there is NO conditions attached other than it being ring fenced for our managers disposal,myself and brian bell have been helped by peter marr who has been busy raising funds also.we have also had good coverage from sean hamiliton at dc thomsons.
DFC board have also rose to the top by granting our requests that without there imput we would not have been able to put up the prizes for the 250 and 500 club members,these prizes include,board room hospitality,captains lounge hospitality,a signed squad top,a rare 23 undefeated top,along with a host of other prizes not forgetting asking for player volunteers to participate in four ball golf rounds.
my self and brian were keen to push a modern approach for the prizes as we as a club are at the forefront of a new cutting edge in fan club ownership,hence the asking for some players to become involved and the board room hospitality gives the winners a never heard of before "chance" to savour the board room on a match day,we have also asked for members of the 200 and 500 clubs to be included in a squad picture after the offical squad picture has been taken,we are still awaiting a concrete yes or no on this however,but at the end of the day we are over the moon at the response from the board,who inturn are overwhelmed at the response once again from the fans.
the 100 club prizes will be put up by ourselves and also throught the goodwill of other people who we are talking to at present,all participents will also gain free entry into the dundee mad predictor league.a big huge thank you goes out from us wether you are on the board,a 100 or 250 or indeed a 500 club member,absolutely outstanding effort from all invovled.
