DUNDEE CAROLINA BOUND
Dundee will warm-up for next season's European and domestic challenges with
a pre-season trip to North Carolina, the club confirmed today.
The Dark Blues have been invited to travel to Raleigh, North Carolina from
July 11th to 21st where they'll play friendlies against Northampton Town and
a team from the Mexican Premier League.
Like the club's successful winter break in Trinidad, the Stateside visit is
an all-expenses-paid trip - sports promotion company the Sports Management
Group is picking up the tab.
"It's another great deal for us and we're delighted to get the opportunity
the cross the Atlantic again for our pre-season preparations," said Director
Jim Connor.
"If it's half as successful as our trip to Trinidad, we can look forward to
a very positive start to next season.
"We hope there will be a few ex-pats take the opportunity to come and visit
us in the States - and we're expecting quite a few fans may want to make the
trip with us."
Further details of the pre-season tour will be confirmed in the weeks ahead.
