Chisolm wary of Falkirk threat

Dundee boss Gordon Chisholm believes Falkirk are the team to watch this season as the Dee bid to secure the First Division title.The Taysiders were tipped for glory by many last season, but after poor run of form Chisolm replaced sacked Jocky Scott, but failed catch Caley Thistle.

"Falkirk have just come down and they haven't lost too many players," Chisholm told BBC Scotland.

"A premier league club coming down is going to be an obvious threat."

The Dens Park side have a reduced budget this season, and Chisolm believes the race for the title will be tough.

However, the former Queen of the South manager thinks several clubs could be in contention for promotion to the Scottish Premier League.

"At Dunfermline Jim McIntyre's done well and has a good squad - and Ross County have just been to a Scottish cup final.

"There's three and you can add Partick Thistle and Queens were top of the league at one stage last year.

"I think a bit of luck and who can keep their squad fit"
