Today Dundee Football Club took its first steps to come out of admin,with eighty one per cent of the creditors accepting the six pence in the pound offer made to them by Brian Jackson.The creditors however who voted against the offer Hmrc,and chisolm and dodds have twenty eight days to appeal.
The fans of this club have alot to thank the normal people who have lost a few bob due to our club entering admin and John Bennett takes a huge amount of credit due to the amount of money he has lost out on,John is just a normal albeit wealthy football fan and as i said he deserves a huge amount of credit for cutting his losses and allowing the club to survive.
The clubs total debt topped three.eight million pounds and this crazyness must never ever be allowed to happen again,the crazy thing is that chisholm was due over £91,000 and dodds was due over £77,000,if only the people that mattered had put in a pay per play scheme ie pounds for points,if they were worth that money how much is the Barry Smith,Rab Douglas and Matty Lockwood trio worth,in my opinion it is absolutely crucial the club hang on to this management team.
