Sturday sees many former legends attend the cup game versus Raith
a large group of Legendary players will be attending the match with Raith Rovers.on saturday, those in attendance will be
Alec Stuart, Gordon Wallace, Keith Wright, Lawrie Smith, Jocky Scott, Pat Liney, Brian Scrimgeour, Charlie Cooke, Bobby Wishart, Ian Ure, Bobby Glennie, Billy Pirie, John Duncan, Alan Gilzean will all be in attendance for the William Hill Scottish Cup tie, and supporters will have the opportunity to pay homage to these Legends at half time.
Some of those names means that it will be worth the admittance money alone to welcome them back to the hallowed dens park turf,at the moment confusion is rife with rumours that the malmaison hotel wont be ready for the event due to water damage mid week, rumour has it that the event has been moved to the old course hotel, although this has NOT yet been confirmed by the club so indeed could possibly be false.
hopefully it will turn out to be false but only we can have a rumour like this circulating less than a day before the event.
the event itself will be attended my the majority of the afore mentioned players and for that reason alone i hope every one going really enjoys themslves rubbing shoulders with guys of the caliber of Alan Gilzean etc
just a pity my lottery numbers never came up as i would have been there in a flash.
