We still have 11 games to play and for anyone watching the games this season, they will know that in this league any team can beat any other team.
Every team will drop points between now and the end of the season and there is every chance the title race will go down to the wire.
In its simplest form, we are not that good, and are certainly no better than Accies or Falkirk in my opinion.
BUT by the same token they are no better than us, so more than ever it will be a case of rolling the sleeves up, being organised and hopefully getting a fair share of luck along the way.
What can make a difference, is if the fans accept that we are not going to play like Brazil, are not going to roll teams over, will not have any easy games and in some matches are going to struggle.
That has been the case all season so far and nothing is going to change on that front as far as I can see.
What we can do and what WILL make a difference, is to really get behind the players and the manager and even if we are playing badly and struggling in games we can still get behind the team and support them.
I think that especially at Dens this could make the difference between getting enough points to go up ; or having to face the play offs.
We are an average side, no better or worse than other teams in this league, but our supporters COULD be the difference in some games.
I hope that the panic stops, we realise that we are what we are - and that we can all get behind the team and hope that we can do enough to get promoted.
