The LEAST we expected post-admin was for transparency & for the club to be run in a proper manner. He can't even do the basics!
A day before this Mr Marr tells the press that he intends to remain on the DFC Board for another season. Is he serious?
I don't know about anyone else on here, but I know of very few supporters who will be renewing season tickets if Mr Marr remains at the club.
I have asked 15 members of DSA club their opinion on this – only 1 said he would renew if Peter Marr remains on the Board – i.e. 7%. Based on this the projected adult season ticket sales would be down from 1100ish to fewer than 100. I think we all know what that would mean and I don't believe it's too far off the mark.
It's been quite apparent from ‘day 1' of administration that PM does not give a flying f*** about OUR club. I recall 30 D4L guys putting £20 each in a plate before going in the front door to do bucket collections against the Hearts. The first thing the cause of us being in the position had to say was “Eh hope you lot have paid in”. I have not seen any change in attitude since.
I don't need to explain the unacceptable management of the club under PM's regime however if he feels that Alan Kernaghan's position was untenable he clearly knows the same applies to his role as a Director???
It's maybe been said before – many times – but there is little doubt in my mind that he now has days to make a decision which will mean we can move on without him. He knows he has NOTHING to offer OUR club.
OUR club needs OUR people at the helm and OUR people all together working as one. If he remains on our Board & things get any worse, then the action will come from elsewhere I have no doubt.
