1st March - Joint Board Meeting Minutes
The following is a summary of the minutes from the DFC and Dee4Life joint board meeting from 6th February:-

Outstanding Issues
Scroll of Honour - PM advised update to this is almost complete.
Lottery - WB is to investige various possibilities
Penman Lounge - Lounge quiet during first hour, drinks promotion to be considered
Hogmanay
PM confirmed club profit was higher than last year. SG requested 2 or possibly 3 lounges be reserved for Trust use this year.
Soccer Savers
70 members already pre-launch 09/02/06. Business accounts to be available soon.
Unfortunately, Trust logo can’t appear on passbooks as they are a non-professional organisation. Posters to go up in Cox, South Enclosure etc to promote. Further initiatives to promote under discussion between Club, GK and Soccer Savers.

Casino Night (4th March)
PM to check with Jimmy Marr for possible additional prizes, including various hospitality packages.
Matchday Programme
PM to discuss possible half-page advert for the Trust.
Matchday Fliers advertising forthcoming events
After discussion it was agreed to change the format to highlight only the immediate events to maximise effect, with the later events being included at the bottom in a smaller font. WB agreed to own future design and printing.
Youth Team Replica Tops
PM to check contractual status with Forfar Roof Truss Company to see if replica tops with Dee 4 Life logo on could be sold. Discussion on minimum order numbers. Blank tops cannot be purchased as a one off and the minimum order may make it unviable. PM to check on minimum orders.
2006/07 Strips
PM commented fans to be given opportunity to vote on next season’s home and away kit, £1 per entry (to go to youth development). Discussion on whether the announcement of winning design can be made at Trust fashion show, provisionally scheduled for mid April? PM to confirm.
Amateur/Junior Clubs
SG enquired if it would be possible for Dundee Direct to do a kit and boot deal for junior and amateur clubs, with clubs getting a deal on tickets for midweek fixtures? PM to discuss with Alan Provan.
Half-Time Entertainment
Trust provided positive feedback on Stranraer game.
Training Kits
SG enquired whether the old Training kits can be sold off to fans at the end of the season.
Open Day
Trust enquired if Lindley’s would be willing to do the Catering? PM to investigate.
Trust Whisky
GK to discuss with BB re potential for Dee 4 Life branded whisky, to be used a collectors item. PM also commented that he would be contacting Asda re DFC branded wine.
Season Ticket prices for 2006/07
Trust requested visibility and communication before final prices are set. This was agreed and details of plans will be presented at the next DFC Board Meeting.
Andy Penman Lounge – 3/12/05
BS advised that catering/split of income arrangement reached between him and management hadn’t been passed on to staff on duty.
Trust Donations
PM requested update re Trust Donations – To be discussed at next Trust Meeting and feedback given to the club.
As you can see, a substantial range of issues continues to be discussed at the joint board meetings, including and especially addressing issues of our membership.
